Can we help you?
If you are a CANDIDATE seeking
employment (even if not actively), we may be able to advise you about current or future
tax opportunities if you meet all of the following basic criteria:
Have a minimum of 2 years current experience
working in a full-time tax capacity with either a CPA, law firm or in private
industry.
Are at a "non-executive" level (i.e., manager
or below).
Wish to stay within the tax field at either a CPA firm or in private
industry.
What Type of Potential Candidates Are You Least Likely To Help Find
a Position For?
Being a small highly-specialized firm, we can only attempt to
help a finite type of individual with their search. Unfortunately, we spend more time then
we'd like dealing with people who have a lot to offer potential employers, but would best
be served by using more general recruiters or other placement firms that are tailored to
their existing specialties. Accordingly, set forth below is a partial list of the
backgrounds of these type of job-seekers :
|
|
"Non-tax people" (i.e., Controllers, etc)
This includes anyone who does not perform most of their daily functions (at least
80%) working in the tax capacity (virtually all-year round-not just "tax
season") |
|
|
Sole-Practitioners (a.k.a self-employed)
professionals. An exception would
be if this is merely a temporary situation in-between jobs for less than a year. |
|
|
"High-level" tax executives(from the
private sector) with salaries over $150,000 per year. (exception: if in public accounting
and want to go to another CPA firm) |
|
|
Full-time students, recent graduates and/or
entry-level job seekers. |
|
|
Attorneys looking for employment only with
law firms. |
|
|
People looking to make a "career change". |
|
|
Candidates looking
to relocate to/from the geographical areas we cover and expect the
prospective employee to pay for the relocation. |
|
|
If you specialize
in "expatriate/foreign National/International assignee" work. |
