Our article entitled "The Danger of Accepting a Counteroffer" appeared in the February 2004 edition of the Institute of Management Accountants (Westchester/Fairfield County Chapter) Newsletter.

Howard has volunteered in 2010 through 2012 by speaking about "Getting a job when you graduate" at the Briarcliff Middle School.

We are finalizing an article entitled "The Dangers and Pitfalls of Outsourcing The Corporate Tax Function" and have preliminary interest from a number of organizations who may include it in their future publications. Howard is an active speaker and will be happy to lecture on this topic on request.

Howard of Kutcher Tax Careers volunteered his piano services at 2 business-related functions by performing at the cocktail receptions for the Committee of Banking Institutions on Taxation's NYC seminar (in April 2003) and at the Westchester Chapter of the N.Y. State CPA Society's annual golf outing in White Plains (June 2003).

In May, 1999 Howard Kutcher spoke about "Tax Career Opportunities" in Elmsford, N.Y. before the American Society of Women Accountants and The Institute of Management Accountants.

Howard Kutcher represented the Westchester Chapter of the N.Y. State Society of CPA's at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY in November, 1998 at their Annual Career Day. He gave dozens of students advice and counseling about career paths in both accounting and finance for different sectors (public accounting, private industry and the government).

Howard also appeared at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation's (IPT) luncheon seminar in Newark, NJ in May, 1998 as a panelist of a discussion group focusing on "Careers in State and Local Taxation". Some of the issues addressed were the trends in staffing, differences in Income/Franchise vs. Sales, Use and Property Tax and salary information extracted from a recent survey performed.

Howard attended a couple of meetings serving as a member of the KPMG Peat Marwick Alumni Council during 1997/98. Some of the key topics of discussion were the upgrading of the Alumni program and the expansion of the firm's web site.

An article written by our firm about "Careers in Taxation" was included in the Spring 1998 issue of the Institute of Management Accountant's newsletter (Bergen/Rockland Chapter)
